I’ve ordered from here a few times now, and it’s been a bit hit or miss. Some packs were really good, but others had more tough pieces than I expected. It’s fine, totally fine, I’m not making a big deal out of it or anything... I just wish the quality was a little more consistent...

I thought the prices at Maui Nui Venison were reasonable for what you’re getting. It’s definitely not the cheapest option, but for wild venison, that didn’t really surprise me 🙂 Shipping can bump the total up a bit, so I’d check that before placing an order. Overall though, the quality makes the price feel fair to me.

I ordered from mauinuivenison.com because I wanted to try something a little different. Shipping was quick, and the meat itself looked good, but the box seemed like it had been handled kind of carelessly, which was a little annoying.
The taste was fine, just not what I expected. I was hoping for that stronger venison flavor, but it was actually mild. I’m sure some people would prefer it that way, but I wanted it to taste a bit more gamey.

Overall, it wasn’t bad, just not really what I was looking for. Between the mild flavor and the sloppy handling during delivery, I’m not in a huge rush to order again, though I might give it another shot someday.

But the shipping has actually been really dependable. The tracking came through quickly, the boxes showed up when they said they would, and everything was still cold when it arrived. One of my orders even got here a day early, which almost never happens in my favor. No random delays, no damaged packaging, nothing to stress about for once. Easy experience overall, and I’d order again.

I had a hard time using the site, mostly because the checkout kept freezing on me. I’d add my items, go to pay, and then it would just stop loading. I tried refreshing, going back, re-entering my info, waiting a few minutes, even switching pages, but it kept getting stuck. It was especially annoying because everything else seemed fine, like browsing products, adding to cart, and checking shipping, but the second I got to checkout it would freeze again. Definitely not the smoothest experience.

The box showed up a little crushed, haha, but the meat was still cold and seemed fine. I just think sturdier packaging would be a good idea for next time.

I really wanted to like them, and the product was fine, but tbh the sustainability side felt a little vague to me. I was hoping for more clear info on sourcing and actual impact, not just general claims. So yeah, I’m kinda hesitant to order again right now.

I don’t know, I tried it and my first thought was, “Hmm, this tastes a little gamey.” It wasn’t bad or anything, just not really the flavor I was hoping for. I could eat it, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again.

I really liked the idea behind this. The meat was good, and the way they talk about their sourcing makes it feel more ethical to me, which is kind of what you want, isn’t it?

Meh. The food tasted okay, but the portions were way too small for what I paid. I finished everything and was still hungry after. Yikes.

My order arrived late in the day, and by the time I opened the box, the venison wasn’t fully frozen anymore. Some of the packs still had ice on them, but a few were soft around the edges and had started leaking a little.
I was really looking forward to trying it, but after this one delivery, I’m not sure their packing can handle the trip well enough. For what it costs, I expected it to arrive colder and in better shape

I almost always find the stuff I need here, or at least I think I do. It’s usually in stock, and I don’t really have to deal with much hassle, which is nice...

I had a problem with my order and support just keep dragging it out. They didn’t really gave me a proper fix or even a clear answer. It was annoying and I won’t be ordering from them again.

I was happy with the cut selection on mauinuivenison.com. There were plenty of good options to choose from, and I found most of what I was looking for without much trouble. A couple of cuts were either out of stock or not described as clearly as I would’ve liked, which was a little frustrating. That said, the site was still easy to shop, and overall it was a good experience.

I went on mauinuivenison.com thinking I’d probably just grab some ground venison, but I ended up browsing way longer than expected. There were steaks, sausages, jerky, bone broth, and even pet treats, which I didn’t realize they carried.
I ordered a few different things to try, and it was easy to compare everything without feeling overwhelmed. I’m not totally sure what my go-to will be yet, but I liked that there was more than just a couple basic cuts. I’ll probably order again once my freezer starts getting low.
